Meet Stephannie Bartly, LAC Regional Human Resource Manager at Universal Weather and Aviation, Inc.

How did you get started in your career?

I started my career just by coincidence for the company I had been working for more than 20 years. There was a vacancy in Human resources so I started to assist and help employees and managers with tasks once they noticed that everything was working well, they decided to offer me the position as the human resource manager. The years and the interaction with the labor lives of the employees make me more interested in this position and the impact of my role in the organization. Having the opportunity to create, be a strategic partner, and develop employees’ capabilities and careers makes my day-to-day more fascinating.

What's your favorite part about working in HR?

I'm proud to touch lives through my work and add value to the organization. It has been a wonderful journey in Universal Aviation.

Stephannie Bartly deserves to be recognized for how she has grown and evolved with the company throughout her career with us. She manages one of our most complicated regions (from an HR perspective) and has gradually built the internal relationships to influence and impact the business. She is a perpetual learner and never shies away from a challenging situation or person. Stephannie deserves a standing ovation for her professionalism and perseverance.
