“AFTER decades of corporate discourse about the war for talent, it appears that the battle is over, and talent has won. Employees today have increased bargaining power, the job market is highly transparent, and attracting top-skilled workers is a highly competitive activity. Companies are now investing in analytics tools to figure out why people leave, and the topics of purpose, engagement, and culture weigh on the minds of business leaders everywhere.

Our research suggests that the issues of “retention and engagement” have risen to No. 2 in the minds of business leaders, second only to the challenge of building global leadership.” – Josh Bersin

Recognition is a key driver in developing highly engaged employees and small intentional activities create positive results. What gets recognized, gets repeated.

Join thought leaders and employee engagement experts Theresa Harkins, CRP, CCP, SPHR, Inspirus, LLC and Scott Russell, CRP, CA Short as they lead you though the RPI 7 Best Practices ® for building a recognition strategy that drives employee engagement through a culture of recognition. Learn specific tactics that you can implement right away for a sustainable and impactful recognition strategy that drives results and ROI.

Theresa is a visionary, strategic leader as indicated by the achievement of such esteemed certifications as the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and Certified Compensation Professional (CCP). She was an early innovator in the deployment of global enterprise employee recognition strategies by using her training and facilitation skills and knowledge to assist in the implementation of these initiatives. As a chartered professional in the recognition industry, Theresa eliminated the splintered recognition approach in her organization by creating an aggregated program structure to provide a sense of unity and consistency in the company.

Scott Russell

Scott is a 20-year veteran of event management and recognition from his days as a concert promoter in Southern California to his most recent 12-year stint in Operations (Employee Experience) with Verizon Wireless. Scott is currently the Director of Client Success for the C.A. Short Company based in North Carolina. He works day in and day out to promote the value of recognition and engagement to his staff, his clients, and others.

Get your recognition strategy ready for 2020 and start creating a culture of recognition for employee retention and recruitment.
