IMA & Strategic Industry Groups Honor Four Outstanding Volunteers with IMA Spirit Awards

Peter Cannon, Scott Robinson, Ted Moravec and Greg Trzaska were recognized for industry-leading work and contributions of time and talent.

FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA – Aug. 11, 2021 – The Incentive Marketing Association (IMA), which advocates for and promotes the use of incentives and recognition to improve business performance, took time during the 2021 IMA  Summit this week to recognize the organization’s own outstanding volunteers with the IMA’s Spirit Awards. The IMA and four IMA Strategic Industry Groups (SIGs) each recognized one of their member volunteers for time and contributions toward furthering the organization.

Spirit Award recipients are selected based on having made an important contribution to the IMA and the SIG through their volunteerism and for how they have exemplified the mission of the IMA and the SIG.

Incentive & Engagement Solution Providers (IESP)
Peter Cannon, president, Ticket Jones, is a non-incentive and engagement provider who never fails to show his dedication and commitment to the IESP. He serves on the IESP board and over time, he lent his IT department to IESP to help lower the costs of running the website. Cannon has also helped out in raising money for the SIG to support promotion of IESP educational resources.  Additionally, he is the creator of a series of panels Anatomy of an Incentive Program at the IMA Summit.

Incentive Gift Card Council (IGCC)
Scott Robinson, vice president of client services, Mint Advertising, is described as the unsung hero of IGCC. His commitment to communication and corporate outreach has really moved the needle, keeping members informed and brands top of mind for gift card purchases. Robinson works tirelessly and without complaint and is always thinking of ways to bring value to the IGCC and its members through communication efforts.

Incentive Manufacturers & Representatives Alliance (IMRA)
Ted Moravec, CPIM, vice president of business development, Stark Enterprises, Inc., has been deeply involved with IMRA and has held several positions on the board, including president. Throughout his time, he has made a large positive impact on so many people in the SIG. He helped take Elite Creations to new levels of sales and customer service, quickly making him a rep favorite as he immediately figured out what IMRA reps need to succeed. As a result, Moravec has become a pillar in the IMRA landscape, and his contribution cannot be understated.

Incentive Travel Council (ITC)
Greg Trzaska, president, Breakaway Card Services, Inc., has been in the incentive industry for over 10 years. He joined the ITC in 2017 and currently serves as the chairperson of membership recruiting. While 2020 was an extremely difficult year for all ITC members and those in the travel industry, Trzaska was able to successfully pivot his small business to work remotely, adjust systems to new industry rules and regulations and refocus client rewards programs to what was relevant at the time. This helped keep both his clients and rewards participants engaged during an ever-changing environment.
