The Recognition Professionals International, RPI, would like to invite your organization to become one of the outstanding sponsors of our many Education programs that includes the Certified Recognition Professional®, CRP program. RPI has responded to industry trends by developing the Certified Recognition Professional®, CRP curriculum. To earn a CRP designation, candidates will complete four facilitator-led courses.

Current CRP Course titles are as follows:

  • Structuring Recognition Programs for Success (SRPS)

This one-day program will serve as a foundational, introductory course for other in-depth programs. SPS encompasses the seven NAER Best Practices Standards: Recognition Strategy, Management Responsibility, Measurement, Communications Plan, Training, Events and Celebrations, Change and Flexibility. Participants in this program will learn methodologies and tool utilization to support the knowledge and skills associated with these Best Practices Standards, with activities and actual examples throughout the course.

  • Strategic Planning and Measurement (SPM)

This one-day program will cover specific skills and tools needed by a Certified Recognition Professional to set strategy, develop budgets and create meaningful measurements. Participants in Strategic Planning and Measurement will learn methodologies and tool utilization to support the knowledge and skills associated with aligning recognition to corporate strategic initiatives, ensuring realistic budgets and measurements are set to support these plans.

  • Recognition Management and Maintenance (RMM)

Recognition Management and Maintenance covers the fundamentals of Measurement, and Process Change and Flexibility. Participants in this program will learn methodologies and tool utilization to support the knowledge and skills associated with these Best Practices Standards, with actual examples as a thread throughout the course.

  • Applying Recognition Systems (APR)

This one-day program will support the social and motivational aspects of behavioral theory. Participants in this program will learn tools and techniques to incorporate into their organization’s recognition practices.

As a contributor, your company will receive recognition as a RPI Education Sponsor. Your organization may sponsor an entire course or choose to invest in increments of $5,000. One-full-course sponsorship is equal to $50,000.

A vital part of any professional’s growth and development is access to an educational environment that offers the appropriate knowledge and skill set. Recognition Professionals International (RPI), has established performance standards and criteria for our emerging profession. With these requisite responsibilities and skills in place, it is our intent to provide our members the educational opportunities and training necessary to achieve a heightened level of excellence and expertise.

Responding to employer needs and industry trends, RPI has developed the Certified Recognition Professional®, CRP® curriculum. To earn a CRP® designation, candidates will complete four facilitator-led courses and pass the required testing. The RPI Certified Recognition Professional® program sets the standard for assessment of an individuals’ abilities and provides a means for Recognition Professionals to acquire the needed skills and knowledge in order to excel.

Candidates enrolled in the RPI Certified Recognition Professional®, CRP® certification program will apply sound adult learning principles to ensure transfer and retention of learning.

Benefits of a Recognition Professionals International CRP® designation:

  1. Provides a means for Recognition Professionals to acquire needed skills and knowledge.

  2. Sets the standard for assessment of abilities and clarification of future expectations.

  3. Sets you apart as a Recognition Professional equipped with the expertise required to excel.

  4. Provides enterprises performance standards for Recognition Professionals.

  5. Provides enterprises a means to identify individuals who meet those standards.

The performance standards include criteria for effective recognition strategy and programs with real, business results. For example, certified recognition specialists are trained to determine the ROI for a recommended recognition strategy. They learn how to align recognition goals with enterprise goals and develop programs that will meet them, resulting in measurable, bottom-line results for the organization. They learn how to establish cost-effective processes for nominations, and award procurement and fulfillment.

The goals of the RPI Certified Recognition Professional®, CRP Certification Program include:

  1. To raise the professional standards of those engaged in Employee Recognition

  2. To encourage continuing education for professional development.

  3. To encourage self-development by offering guidelines for achievement in the Employee Recognition Profession.

  4. To identify and award special recognition to those persons who have demonstrated a comprehensive knowledge of those principles and practices of Employee recognition, related disciplines, and laws governing and affecting Employee Recognition.
