Lessons in Empathy: Walking in the Shoes of Your Participant

Whether you are creating a recognition program or a new line of clothing, empathy is an important tool for designers. Empathy is a way of thinking about others. It is also a set of tools that help you walk in the shoes of the person for whom a designer is building. Empathy requires a fundamental shift in perspective. The wants and needs of the tenant, not the tools of the builder, need to be the starting point for good design. This webinar will share some lessons in how to apply empathy in design. These tools apply not only to reward and recognition programs but to any design challenge.
